Chiasmus in the Ignatian Inscription to the Romans
Abstract
Discourse analysis of Ιgnatius’ lengthy salutation reveals an elaborate and sophisticated chiasmus, which complicates the modern view of Ignatius of Antioch as a poor stylist.
