Cyril’s Glossary as a Source for the Lexicon of Ps.-Zonaras
Abstract
The MSS. of the Lexicon draw on a branch of the Cyrillean tradition that seems to have existed only outside of Constantinople, thus placing the Lexicon’s author in the first half of the 13th century and in the Greek East, possibly Nicephorus Blemmydes.
